Social Skills Group Training
Early intervention (Ages 3-6)
ABA Parents has developed a Social Skills group for young children between 3 and 6 years old with mild developmental deficits who can function in a group with 4 to 8 other peers. Our Social Skill groups are structured, relationship-based and emphasize on turn talking, referencing, negotiating, following others leads, attending, waiting and self-regulating in a group setting.
Our curriculum has strategies, games, and activities that we incorporate into our social skills group to expand adaptive learning. Each group will be held at one of our family community-based centers, and parent group will run at the same time. Parent-implemented interventions (PII) consist of practitioners collaborating with, coaching parents in implementing evidence-based practices with their children through daily social skills opportunities in the home and community.
The curriculum is designed for a 16 weeks of ecologically valid lesson plan with weekly parent resource.
